I figure since I get a fair number of followers, I should write something about myself here. Well, nice to meet you. Despite the German prefix on my name, I’m actually a 20-something boy who lives in Western Tokyo, Japan but grew up mostly in Southern Ontario, Canada. 

How can I possibly sum up everything about myself within a few sentences? I suppose I would define myself as someone who is somewhat intellectually inclined, well-read and introverted. Most people who talk to me usually like me, and if you don’t, I probably won’t care.

I blog about a number of things on here, but 80%+ of what I post are simply re-blogs without any additional commentary. I hold rather contradicting, yet solid political beliefs. I am a supporter of some social democratic and some libertarian causes. I despise neo-conservatism, neo-colonialism, zionism and other globalist ideologies. If I could define myself, I would say I’m a radical centrist.

With that said, I post a lot of historical photography. I am fascinated by totalitarian regimes and their aesthetics. Otherwise, I post random pictures which I find either pretty or riveting in any manner which includes everything from cyberpunk, a song of ice and fire/game of thrones (which I’m currently obsessing over), music that I enjoy, films I love, people I find attractive and so on. It’s very rare that I post anything about myself or my personal life.

I love music and enjoy playing guitar and piano (very poorly) in my spare time. My taste in music is very diverse and ranges from indie-pop, to shoegaze, to classical, to electronic, to foreign music, etc. For more information see my last.fm.

I’m not easily offended or overtly sensitive. Some things may be slightly NSFW. I like talking to new people and discovering new things. That’s all for now.
