My dream from last night.
So weird. Anyway, for some reason I’m with my friend Paul (who lives in Toronto - we often go to lunch/dinner/shows together) and we’re heading to some restaurant downtown. The restaurant is similar to Cora and only serves really sweet food. For whatever reason, Zooey Deschanel is there. This is strange because I never dream about celebrities (or even think about them much, actually). As soon as we walk in I wave to her and she waves back and tells us to try this special dessert.
We sit there for a bit eating our food, and I look over at her table and she’s surrounded by people. They all look like celebrities, so I just sit back. The dessert she suggested isn’t very good and I’m already too full to even finish it. Before going I tell her “Thanks, it was good” and she doesn’t notice it.
Next I look down at my phone and it says “8:22”. The train from Toronto to Burlington always leaves at 8:43, so I decide to rush to catch the subway. There are four trains (eastbound/westbound/northbound/southbound) but they’re all on the same side.. I’m not sure how it works. Anyway, I line up behind the southbound one and Paul is ahead of me. A bunch of guys approach me and they clearly look like douchebags. I ignore them but they keep getting in my way until I eventually can’t ignore them. I tell them to fuck off so they push me into a wall and run off.
By the time I get back up my train has left. I also realize that I’m no longer wearing my jacket. Thankfully I find it lying around but the pockets are empty, meaning they stole my wallet/phone. Bastards. So I start to wonder, “How the hell am I going to get home now with no money?” and after that my alarm went off.
